Patience l Founder
Patience (on the right) has been a fan of Harry Potter for years and an advocate of literacy, equality and social justice since childhood. When she learned of the opportunity to couple her favorite things together she decided to start the first Harry Potter Alliance chapter in the state of Delaware. Patience (Ravenclaw) is often found volunteering with many local charities in-and-around Delaware including Toys for Tots, Little Sisters of the Poor, Read Aloud Delaware, and her local libraries. Patience is also a graduate student at Clarion University, working towards her Masters in Library Science.
Joseph l FounderJoseph (on the left) is a huge fan of Harry Potter. He also follows in this mother's footsteps championing for those that have fallen between the cracks of society. Joseph has a big heart and considers himself a Hufflepuff and for good reason; He volunteers regularly for Toys for Tots and Little Sisters of the Poor.

Scott l Potion Master
The ability to help less-fortunate families and children serves as a great motivator for Scott's participation in the Harry Potter Alliance. His family is full of hardcore Harry Potter fans, and with extensive experience volunteering with Toys For Tots, supporting this group and his family is an enjoyable adventure. He is a strong advocate for empathy, equality and basic human rights, so being sorted to Slytherin was a bit of a surprise. However, the hat indicated clever resourcefulness would help lead the way to greatness. J Scott ensures the fourth house is properly represented in the group and serves to emulate Severus Snape, the namesake Potion Master and arguably greatest Slytherin, whom showed that any individual can make the greatest, bravest sacrifices for the good of the many.

Benjamin l Potion MasterAs the youngest member of the group, Benjamin is a brave Gryffindor that lends his help in any way he can (and typically asks to do more). He is always enthusiastic about charitable ventures and understands what his participation means. Most of his exposure to the Potterverse has been through family, the films and video games, however, he is currently developing his reading skills at an exponential rate and will be reading the originals in no time.

Daniella I Potion Apprentice
Daniella (Ravenclaw) worked as a pastry chef until the birth of her daughter, Adalyn and now is a stay at home mom and student at University of Delaware, majoring in dietetics. She is a HUGE Harry Potter fan (she has two HP tattoos AND had a Harry Potter themed wedding) and strongly believes that doing things for others who are less fortunate is what will make the world a better place. She has two dogs (Sirius and Bellatrix, of course) and more HP shirts than she knows what to do with.

Mitchell l Potion Student
Mitchell has recently become a fan of Harry Potter and is a tried and true Hufflepuff. Despite his own personal challenges with autism and comfort level in a crowd, Mitchell has been branching out at fan events and with charitable ventures in order to share and support his newfound interest.
